onefang's rewrite rule
My Linux follows onefang's rewrite rule, which is summarised as follows :
- 0 - Write something the first time. Lean towards generality
- 1 - First rewrite. Cut and paste.
- 2 - Second rewrite. Generalise.
- 3 - Third rewrite. Debug the generalisation.
- 4 - Fourth rewrite. All working fine.
- 5 - Fifth rewrite. Make it go away.
- 6 - Sixth rewrite. There is no sixth rewrite.
